Another rep did say that the ticket has been closed when i confirmed to them that i have received the refund and how amazed i was with how professionally they handled this case and then i received the survey email And that is it and its been over a week.

Under the above circumstances, It's safe to say their Investigation has been finalized.

One of my friends received a full refund yesterday after claiming the Meta box was empty, it took around 2 and a half weeks to receive the refund. They didn't fight it at all, just had to wait.

Okay, tell her to email you Information of where It states In their policy that they can only give more details to the local authorities, and not to the claimant. If she has nothing to hide, she has everything to show - fulfil your request In full.
