RE: Paypal dispute for heavy item #21
Update on this thing, I have to call pp to have them see that it has been delivered by the courier so they can move it as a completed claim and refund me. Haven’t had any confirmation yet, they told me it should be done and processed by tmr.

Update on the whole situation. It’s a success! I’ve received email confirmation from PayPal informing me of my refund. The money should be hitting my bank in a few days.
Sendle as a tracking service has done a fucking fantastic job in not measuring the item weight and letting me report the item weight myself.

Empty box with 12Kg?
Yup
Lol.
This courier service is a shame, in 2021 they haven't understood yet that they have to weight package... Good for the Australians, as always here in EU things are much more "hassle" to succeed.

Nowhere, but if he really succeeded claiming an empty box for such heavy package, they it works. Don't you believe them?

He claimed empty box on a item that weight almost 12kg.

The rep who processed the claim must've been brain-dead.

They said that it's not their first time claiming it:

Then what do you mean by this?
(12-23-2020, 08:55 AM)Msghost Wrote: Obviously, I can't do the EB/boxing method as the pc is almost 12kg in weight

That aside, given the value of the Item, an Investigation Is almost a certainty. When they cross-check the details (namely the weight) against the carrier's manifest, your SE will fail.
I’ve already sent them using eb method without any weight in it but it is covered by my courier as they don’t measure weight and also allow receiver to report as received. So of course, I confirm it for them and now waiting for paypal to send me the money back on Monday.

So unless they lied to us writing this thread, that courier company does not seem to register weight on warehouse.

Nice work. You should test in the future with a shipping company that does show the accurate weight to prove your theory of why Sendle worked.

Obviously this is time consuming and potentially a waste of time.

Once again good job!
