He claimed empty box on a item that weight almost 12kg.
The rep who processed the claim must've been brain-dead.

They said that it's not their first time claiming it:

That aside, given the value of the Item, an Investigation Is almost a certainty. When they cross-check the details (namely the weight) against the carrier's manifest, your SE will fail.
I’ve already sent them using eb method without any weight in it but it is covered by my courier as they don’t measure weight and also allow receiver to report as received. So of course, I confirm it for them and now waiting for paypal to send me the money back on Monday.
Where does It state that It's a separate (repeat) claim to the one that succeeded?

Mothered, excuse me but If they did an empty box on a item which weights 12kg is either because you know you SE will succeed or because they are a masochist and it will fail. I think the first, don't you think?

I understand your point and certainly agree.

I'm trying to establish whether this was a one-off Incident that was not related to the carrier, but rather a rep who didn't bother Investigating the claim and simply Issued a refund. There's a lot that happens behind the scenes that's unbeknownst to the consumer, meaning just because they allow you to enter the weight or It's not listed on the shipping label, It doesn't mean the package Isn't weighed at their depot.
