Logitech fail #1
I recieved this message from logitech yesterday:
Thank you for submitting the information under case number (######) which we have thoroughly analyzed.

Unfortunately, we were not able to validate the receipt from the retailer. Without a valid itemized copy of your proof of purchase we cannot proceed with your claim and have no choice but to reject it. If you wish to provide a valid receipt/invoice as requested, we will reopen your claim.

RE: Logitech fail #2
I tried providing a receipt from amazon once too, but it wasn't the best idea as it turns out they can verify if a purchase of their products was made on amazon. And after that I got a message that such a purchase was not listed on amazon. So now I use other stores and everything goes through successfully.

Ye I plan on telling them that I got the POP's mixed up and try using a different shop. They should've thought that they'd probably be able to verify something like that with amz. Thank you for the answer tho.

I don't get why people still use fake receipt generators, facebook market place and other similar sites are filled with S/N. Theirs ton's Logitech products on the second hand market, all you have to do is ask them for a picture. One common excuse to ask is to make sure its not a knock off.

Fake receipts definitely speed up the process which is why they're used the problem with facebook & ebay S/N's is that if they're already registered the SE could easily fail. There's a huge element of luck even if you claim it's a gift.

I bought the real mouse then just returned it, to be sure the sn in not registered, this way I am seing logitech not the small store itself. And even with SN they ask for valid reciept.
