either way, i could swap the rom on it for personal use
Changing the ROM won't change the IMEI
Also, you can change the IMEI while keeping the same rom, as long as you root it
Doubt Samsung cares anyway

I was thinking about doing DNA from the Google store on a pixel or ordering a pixel+ buds+ charger and saying only the phone was missing from his box.
Then I changed my mind because I'm not sure if Google keeps track of IMEI and locks/flags the phone (I have the same doubt for Samung)
So right now I'm waiting for an answer from someone with more experience on how to do it... maybe @mothered I saw a lot of his comments and seems very experienced!
Google definitely doesn't care about IMEI blocking, I've been using a Pixel that should've been rebilled (except not, cause the CC was empty), they never blocked it or anything
So considering your experience, would you suggest to SE Google or Samsung from their site? What method would you use ? DNA ?

Alright, you think WIR would be suitable?
Why WIR and not just a simple DNA ?

Dear italian brother, DNA (especially on Amazon) has a very high chance of requesting a PR (denuncia di furto) and I'm pretty sure you don't want to do that
What would you say if we, being both italian and needing a phone, share out discord/tg in dm and look for the best Plan of action?

I'm talking about doing it from Samsung website (or any other manufacturer like Google)
Sure, send me your disc0rd

Dna or Eb won't work for Samsung. They provided picture of packaging and they request signature for their phones/s8 tablet. You can try fight it but it's a losing battle.
Samsung told me they would block the IMEI when I claimed EB so no one else uses it even after refusing to refund so it was returned. Not sure if they actually do it.

I'll be waiting for @
mothered 's thoughts as well, as hes the most experienced Person here i think

If you needed a phone and couldn't use amazon, what site and method would you choose ?

Can't speak for Samsung, but Google uses DHL or UPS if I'm not mistaken, and they haven't been requesting a signature since Covid first started, so claiming DNA is an option, and there's a very tiny, almost zero chance they'll give a damn and block the IMEI, in which case you can still do the swap trick and/or sell it to some place outside the EU where the ban won't apply

Samsung Itself definitely blocks IMEIs.

The phone Is too heavy to EB.

So my best option would be to DNA from google store , right?
Worst case scenario they refuse and I say a neighbor got the box and then refund it
