Italy Samsung 23 Ultra refund #1
Hi everyone, my phone Is one step into the grave, so I need to get a new one.
I've looked at the S23 Ultra, and there's a good discount on Amazon, and, It allows to pay in installments, so I dont have to spend the whole 1000 but can get away with 100.
What would the best way be? Would WIR be suitable? I want to avoid PR, so DNA or EB are not an option.. I doubt there's a better store especially considering installments without ID verify or shit, I just need help on the method of attack. Thanks

Usual WIR procedure:
Order an item from a completely different unlinked account with an unlinked address with the same weight as the item you're trying to SE
Claim you got the wrong item, Amazon got no way to prove since they dont have CCTV and weight matches up, return wrong item and get refund: would It work with this phone?

ofc Amazon has CCTV of the packaging and can confirm weight. They just too big and would take too much coordination providing it. WIR/EB etc works because of your Amazon account health and courtesy refunds. There is a limited # of courtesy refund that can be processed on your account depending on the "health" before it is closed. Your SE story is meaningless with them, Amazon reps are almost robot like.

WIR returns is less likely to work for expensive items now. The increased the return wait time to 30 days this gives them the time to check most of these packages and high value items refunds are processed manually (idk about Europe). They will email you they received the wrong item. I mean whatever item you are going to try and use likely won't be from the same sort center (considering they have 5+ in most areas).

if your account been flagged or you had multiple refunds in the past, this is failing and probably get your account closed.

I'm in the same situation (in need of a phone and from Italy)

I was thinking about doing DNA from the Google store on a pixel or ordering a pixel+ buds+ charger and saying only the phone was missing from his box.
Then I changed my mind because I'm not sure if Google keeps track of IMEI and locks/flags the phone (I have the same doubt for Samung)

So right now I'm waiting for an answer from someone with more experience on how to do it... maybe @mothered I saw a lot of his comments and seems very experienced!

Usually undeliverable/LIT etc still requires you to wait 30 days now. I guess that should work, at least if your account isn't flagged.

I have noticed issues with account that already received OFM warnings. The customer rep doesn't get the option to process a refund even after 30 days because it's greyed out (their words). Likely a limitation put on the account from the flag.

Changing the ROM won't change the IMEI
Also, you can change the IMEI while keeping the same rom, as long as you root it
Doubt Samsung cares anyway

Google definitely doesn't care about IMEI blocking, I've been using a Pixel that should've been rebilled (except not, cause the CC was empty), they never blocked it or anything

Alright, you think WIR would be suitable?
