Contact them over the 2 week period, and reference their latest reply with each communication.

Also ask them when the refund Is expected to be processed Into your account.

there's something weird going on with this user why would the bank not help him? sounds like they suspect him of fraud too or something

Update: Received an email from customer service stating a refund was processed and it will appear on my balance within a week.

I was with this SE for almost 3 weeks and due to the Inconsistencies with their claims management throughout all communications, I was very confident of Its success.

Most banks disregard chargebacks due to the lack of supporting evidence.

Forgot to add, my bank told me they can't do chargebacks. I guess banks work different here where I live.

thought that a chargeback would apply if you are claiming dna, received different item, damaged item but they are not responsible for making a chargeback when you have received the product and have decided to return it.

Don't know who you could appeal that too.
Perhaps consumer rights protection.
