Any recent Apple EB SEing? 06-15-2022, 01:54 AM

Anyone have any luck successfully EB SEing Apple? Tried to EB Airpods Max but they're asking for a signed hardcopy police report. I'm thinking of cutting my losses and just returning the thing considering the obstacles. If anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it.

There's quite a few threads about this. It might be best just asking the guys in the process right now.

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @

At the time of this post, Apple Is not cross-checking weights when claiming missing goods, of which the EB/missing Item method predominantly works In the SE'ers favor.

A PR Is only required for administration purposes to move forward with the claim, so It's fine to file It.

I already filed a police report and sent them the pdf file. They’re requiring that I show a physical one that was stamped and signed by the police. And I have been informed that it costs over 100 pounds to obtain. So I’ll try to negotiate with the customer service in the hopes that they let it slide. They opened an investigation so I hope they don’t cross reference.

The PR sent via email Is obviously an official report.
For verification purposes, didn't the officer sign It?

From whom?
The police?

Yes. Another user from a different apple EB thread told me. As for the uk police report being signed or not, they haven’t gotten back to me with a response though I doubt I’ll get one considering I didn't provide evidence. I just uploaded the pdf of the report I filled out that they provided with the case number. I’ve never actually filed a police report so I’m very new to it.

Just received the response to the incident report and they’ve simply replied by saying that it’s a “civil matter” and they won’t be doing an investigation. Now all I can do is just hope apple gives in and accepts the PDF.

I see.
I thought It was directly requested by Apple.

Did they discuss what they will be doing with your claim?

They said they wouldn’t be investigating and there’s nothing they can do. Nothing else.

Request your claim be escalated and reviewed by a team member on a senior level.
You've received an empty box, so It's well and truly their responsibility to handle the claim accordingly.

Sorry I was referring to the police, not Apple. This was regarding the police report I filed.
