That's good news - It means the claim Is still active.

Be sure It precisely matches your laptop, as well as the nature of your claim.
Yes indeedy! good news for the claim still being active!...It has taken me well over half an hour and I still didnt see a good one. I had found one that was kind of zoomed in with its shell off. I had told them I asked them for the photo. I have also sent them a forged letter coming from them and an email address within the footer that gets sent to me. to be honest I should have degraded the photo so you couldnt make out too many details of the insides..but I doubt they will do anything with it.
By the way, throughout this whole ordeal, I am very sure that they would have been ok if I had did "as not described method". This method had taken way too much faffing about and potentially incriminating me loads with what I am having to do. The reason I say this is because they pointedly told me that the laptop was similar even though the laptop was damaged or a health and safety risk which is why they closed the claim and they kept on repeating that crap intermittently thoughout!

There are many methods that could've been used, perhaps some better than others, but It's not to say that your choice of method with this SE Is Ineffective.

Looks like it failed again... *sigh*
Ill copy and paste the message they sent below.
"I am sorry for the inconvenience. However, our specialist team has reviewed the claim and denied it. This decision was made because if an item is materially similar to the seller's description, we don't consider it to be significantly not as described."
They then sent a msg saying..." I would suggest you to contact Action Fraud using this phone number: 0300-123-2040 or go to this email address:
www.actionfraud.police.uk."
I basically told them after that message saying how it was significant not as described and told them about evidence i sent recently blah blah how it could've killed us etc.. Then it got sent to the supervisor who i spoke to before and. Just bloody referred me to the ombudsman again!
This is rage inducing..

Ask them to clearly clarify this:
Quote:we don't consider it to be significantly not as described."
What they
consider and what
Is significantly not as described, are very different from each other. The former Is based at their discretion, and the latter Is company policy.
