Right guys I Need Some Help If Possible. ?


I Recently purchased a new computer tower off a friend from college the tower was originally running on windows xp but my friend updated the operating system to a hacked version of windows 7.

The tower its self is running smoothly with no indication of any problems but the problem is on my desktop i icon is in the bottom right of my screen saying
this copy of windows 7 is not genuine
also my desktop background is black , im able to change to what ever i want but when i turn the computer off for the night . it goes back to black when i turn back on .?

Any suggestions . ??

According to me, what has happened is you may have contacted microsoft in some way, like reporting a crashed application, or trying to install updates, etc., and it was found out that it wasn't a genuine version. Activator won't work anymore since it has already been kind of declared not a genuine version.
What I would suggest is to reinstall the system and then use some activator...

just reinstall the the whole os with the cracked windows 7 and loader and MAKE SURe that your hardware can run windows 7

There are several distributions available if you are new to the OS I recommend ubuntu or fedora both are available free from their respective websites can't remember the like off hand but are easy to find using Google
