You can use (obviously) the DNA method, or wrong Item received.
With the DNA, they'll most likely open an Investigation with the carrier but as said earlier, It's simply part of company procedure. In terms of the wrong Item received, purchase a stock Item (that they have In their Inventory) that's significantly cheaper and weighs around the same as the Surface Book. When they request the return, send the wrong Item.
