ping driver replacement 01-26-2018, 12:05 AM

Few months ago I was using my Dad's driver at the range and the shaft snapped after a hard hit. It was a ping but not sure what model or whatever, but it was pretty expensive like £300-£400. If I sent them email asking for a replacement would they ask about warranty etc. and if so what could I say to still try and get a replacement? He's had it a few years so it was quite old

Just to clarify the purchase, was It from ping.com directly?

Sounds like you legitimately own their product and had bad luck. I'd contact their CS, imply the product is defective, and hope they don't require an active warranty. Not giving advice on how to do it deceptively.

I think they have a 2 year warranty, so you could check their warranty policy. This is not related to social engineering in my opinion as you legitimately have the product and trying to get it replaced because it's broken. Just try to contact them and let us know how it goes.
