The RFID magnet Is removed at the time of purchase, so wouldn't they check and see that It's still attached?

You've been opting for the serial number method and other approaches a lot to avoid paying, but as a social engineer, you'd need to have available funds - It's just how It works.
As It stands and given you don't want to pay upfront, you're SEing options are very limited - almost every traditional method Is unavailable.
I did some research and its not a magnet rather a barcode with a soft tag.
Mayve i can circumvent this by walking out and present a fake receipt?
Did you go into the store to check this out? If that's what you mean by research then surely you would've seen the MAYBE 10 cashiers who will have no recollection of checking you out.

You're taking a huge risk If caught.
When SEing online, you're one of billions of users behind the keyboard, as opposed to a single Individual physically at a retail store.

You do know that when you walk out, the tag is still attached, someone WILL flag you down. Then they will have you walk over to a cashier and ask if you were legitimately checked out.

Well no, it is. People did it all the time at our stores, only reason they ever got caught was because they left behind the tags and boxes and we'd go through the DVR to find them. He does run a risk of getting charged for a misdemeanor more than he would if he just SE'd it by refunding.

Meh, allow me to say the easiness of shoplifting from a specific store depends on the security measures they employ

it can be damn easy, it can be damn tough

It's pretty careless of them.
It's not hard to use common sense and cover your tracks by leaving nothing behind.
