hockey stick SE - fire - 01-01-2023

Hey, so I wanted to SE a hockey stick without paying for it initially.

Theres this store that physically has it as well as online.

S/N method i doubt would work but maybe I could do something from the past IE impersonating a store manager to get another sent over?

Honestly im not sure but do you guys have any idea or is the only way to purchase it first

Is it a privately owned business or a corporation?

its also only 387 grams but also a really unique shape so what could I do

I'm not sure then. With all the years I've worked in stores like that when I was younger, there always had to be receipts and POP before anything could be handed out again. If you were planning on impersonating a manager, how would you go about doing that? What was your plan?

im not sure i only read about something like that if you call a nearby store theyll send it over and you just have to intercept itor smth im not sure honestly

probably unrealistic but maybe worth a shot?

Nearby stores communicate with each other very often. My manager would call surrounding stores 3-4 times each day just to see what was going on in their store. They would 100% know that you didn't actually work there. You'd have to impersonate an actual manager at a location. It would take time to get to know the manager well enough to know how he speaks, etc.. I wish you luck, but I'm not sure how you will be getting a stick without buying first.

You'd be aiming for a refund, so just purchase It - you'll get your money back, so It makes perfect sense.

what about an in person SE? the stick itself has a very small RFID magnet on the top and i walkedf in and out of the same store the other day with nothing and it still beeped

Would it work to get a fake reciept, walk into the store and walk out and try and say something like i have metal on me because clearly it mus thappen to others as well

i would do that but believe it or not the stick costs 300 cad so a pretty penny for me

The RFID magnet Is removed at the time of purchase, so wouldn't they check and see that It's still attached?

You've been opting for the serial number method and other approaches a lot to avoid paying, but as a social engineer, you'd need to have available funds - It's just how It works.

As It stands and given you don't want to pay upfront, you're SEing options are very limited - almost every traditional method Is unavailable.

You've been opting for the serial number method and other approaches a lot to avoid paying, but as a social engineer, you'd need to have available funds - It's just how It works.

I did some research and its not a magnet rather a barcode with a soft tag.
Mayve i can circumvent this by walking out and present a fake receipt?
