Thank you, my main and first goal is security, I know no computer is completely secure but being able to protect my computer is vary important to me.
my other goals include:
game design
programming (obviously)
I have looked up so many things on so many web sights, forums, google, youtube. but finding a strong hand hold to start off is difficult with so many places saying so many different things.
i'm currently learning JavaScript and mostly fiddling with batch, i have RPG maker VX ACE on my computer and have been messing around with it a bit, but i want to practice inputting my own script ( this is the most lazy game maker iv ever seen)really i would like to get in to 3d game making.
SO my big questions are:
what sites can i go to to learn how to protect my computer ( i know there are a lot im looking for credible sites that are easy to understand)
which langs (sorry for the abbreviation i cant spell that word no matter how hard i try) should i be learning that work for what im trying to do
and what should i be looking for to create my own 3d game (i would love to start from absolute scratch but i have a feeling that is above my level at the moment)
thank you for taking the time to give a hand, im not sure what all i should be looking up and that's my main problem (pulse all the other cool things you find will looking are a bit distracting)
I'v been looking up/studying for around 2 years now, i understand the basics of scripting and game making, next year ill be going to be studying game art and design (working hard to become a technical artist for Blizzard ) and i would like to know as much as i can about whats what in the programming/game making world before i start, that being my end goal. my interest in hacking (cracking) is purely to know what i'm protecting my computer from. what i should be looking for to know if there's any sort of rat keylogger virus ext. on my computer and how to protect from it and or get rid of it.
to be clear, iv been studying for a wile but only recently have i been able to try to put what i know into action, which is why im here now with a crap ton of questions
