Wrong item questions #1
Would wrong item be suitable for an OTP delivery? I think it will be signature but figured id check anyways.
Would it be suitable for an item that does not ship discreet? I.E. the item ships inside of the manufacturer box and it is clear and visible what it is from the outside.

The nature of how packages are received, has no relevance to the wrong Item received method.

Thoughts on the fact that the original and wrong item package both are clearly identifiable based on the packaging? Both items ship in the manufacturer boxes.

You're missing the point.

I'm referring to the way packages are "received" - signature, OTP or otherwise, which Is purely "accepting" the package and nothing more. Claiming a "wrong Item was enclosed", has no relevance to all that.

yes, I understand that, but I'm asking whether the fact that the package is clearly identifiable based on outward appearance and is not enclosed in another carboard box hinders the wrong item received method in the sense of CCTV cameras or other investigatory measures. This is for Amazon US if that helps in clarifying.

That's completely different to your Initial question and concern.

You do not perform the wrong Item received method with CCTV cameras In place.
