They will be delivered with the usual outer packaging with the HDDs in there normal packaging

Apologies for the late reply, just arrived home from a 9 hour shift at work.

On-topic, Is the "normal packaging" different for both HDDs?
Not sure judging from Amazon it's standard amazon packaging

Okay, I'm just trying to piece together all the Information you've provided thus far.

What does your following post related to?
Quote:Order 4TB with Amazon packaging and order the 1TB in normal packaging (as it comes in the proper packaging by default) and then do the SE when I have them both.

Sorry I should've typed it clearer, when I say order 1TB in normal packaging I mean order it as normal (cause it doesn't come in clear packaging unlike the 4TB) and when I've got them both ordered and arrived I'll perform the SE

The 4TB isn't by default in comes in the packaging the hard drive is usually in when you open it and they just put a label on it but I'll be ordering it in normal packaging or as amazon calls it gift packaging. The 6TB does by default come in normal packaging but it's weight it apparently a lot less for some reason could be Amazon making a mistake but I'm not chancing that naturally.
The description is "Item arrives in packaging that reveals what's inside." but for some people according to reddit they ordered a board game and it was just the box with a label on it.

I was about to continue with this SE but now the weighs have changed.  The 1TB now says it weighs 730gs but the 4TB says. The weight changes a lot depending on the site as well i.e different by 100s of grams on ebuyer than it is on scan. Don't know why amazon changes its weight so much however.... :/

Given you're SEing Amazon, you'd have to stick with their weight(s) that's displayed on their very own website.

Or Is there Inconsistencies with this as well?
