so i was speaking to a friend on discord today and i decided to turn some music on but the music kept cutting out, i realised that it happened whenever my friend spoke and looked into the volume mixer. you can see in this video whenever he speaks all other applications get muted https://streamable.com/o2946
ive reinstalled drivers, changed a few of the sound settings, checked everywhere for a solution and i still cant find it, if anyone could help that would be great

Are you using speakers, Bluetooth, or audio straight from your computer? They could be a factor. The problem may not even be Windows.

Try using something else for outputting audio. Even if there isn't anything connected to your audio jack, you can still see what your audio mixer is doing.

Do you have a Restore point available at the time of when It was functioning correctly?

If so, hit a System Restore back to that time & date.
