I joined because I was looking for a good hacking community.

Boards with quality members and contributions that operate as such on a consistent level, are difficult to find.

Our community Is a fine example of excellency.

It's now a much broader reason, but back when I first joined I was just looking on the hardware side of things. Like computer builds and other tech. Now I'm using the forum for all sorts of other things.
