One time they no longer made that mode so they ask me to choose one of similar or lessor value.

Would you mind helping me?

Google search for the specific model of mouse with serial number you are looking for then call into Logitech claiming double clicking issue. Or walk into best buy and take a picture of the back of the packaging. I believe the info is also there.

I don't think they cross check each serial number with units sold. They just want to check which mouse it is.

Updating here too, @mothered, im trying with pcomponentes, they asked for SN and pop as usual, they told me they Will "investigate the problem" on my mouse and tell me what they Will do ( replacement for the same mouse or something on the same price or similar but lower ) they asked me what i wanted.

So i guess you were right ( they dont Cross-check other language PoPs )

Thanks for that tip!.

I'm attempting to SE an MX mouse. I spoke with them via live chat for a whole hour and they ended up insisting on a letter of denial from the seller despite reminding them it doesn't say so in their T&S and warranty conditions. Today I've received an email with a form to fill in my personal details, POP and letter of denial. I don't have the item I'm SEing, just pictures so I can't get a letter of denial. If anyone has any ideas, let me know. Otherwise, I'm ok with letting this go.

Edit: I'd like to add that I'm using the same email I used to SE another company under Logitech and, if the claim goes through without me having to send back the "broken mouse", same addy.
