Im attempting to SE bestbuy for airpod pros that came to my community mailbox . I used the DNA method and was told to wait a couple days or they would refund or replace the item. When I contacted them today they told me to contact Canada Post. Since the item came to my mailbox, I assume this will be suspicious and or lead to trouble. Any idea how I should proceed?

I assume you didn't sign anything, so as far as you're concerned, you did not personally receive the package.

Hopefully, when I recalled they told me they said they could give me a refund and would start an investigation with canada post (which i assume is protocol), but the email I received only stated "Your Case has been received" instead of a refund confirmation. It would have been ideal if I could have gotten a replacement sent but the item was currently out of stock online. Ive heard best buy sometimes lies about a refund being issued so who knows. Will update in a week or so.

If this Is stated chronologically, It doesn't make sense.

I don't see how a refund can be Issued, and an Investigation take place thereafter.

I'd say they've opened an Investigation.

i received an email asking for more information but i ignored it and nothing has happend so far, sorry for the late reply
