SE Asus Notebook #1
Hello,

I noticed that my notebook is still under warranty, so I contacted support and wrote them that it won't start. I had to clean it because some fluid ran out of my notebook (seems to be the battery) and I want to know what to do next.  Let's see what comes next from support ;-)

I'll keep you updated!

EDIT #1:
Next step is to fill a form for RMA. They want a proof of purchase (PoP), so I'll tell them we are a big company, and it's difficult to find the invoice at our accounting dept...

Refunding is completely new to me, so please don't kill me right away because of my questions

^ That's the least of your concerns.

How do you plan to circumvent the return?

I think FTID would be the best. Or should I go with "it was a gift" or "bought it on eBay"?

I don't support the method, but ultimately It's your call.

What's the value of the notebook?

Is this related to avoid sending the POP?

The reason I asked Is that due to Its value, they may only process a refund when they receive the return.

I'm not saying It will be the case, but rather there's a greater chance that It may be the case.

Both reasons are equally effective.
