Is that not Ad Hominen?

No. That's a question. Not an attack on the man.

If you can't even distinguish logical fallacies, why are you posting on this thread?

No, it is a sarcastic question. Which makes it a declaration. Disproving your point.

Is also Ad Hominen because it is a useless argument that is meant to do the same thing as:

You're silly.

This is how you think:

def where_did_matter_come_from(): return where_did_matter_come_from() def how_did_evolution_begin(): where_did_matter_come_from()

Apparently you disagree with Merriam-Webster?

You've totally missed what I said:

Right here:

Maybe so, the first man. Maybe not.

You have too much self-confidence.

If you want me to explain our best scientific theory on how evolution began I'd be glad to do so. However, that's not how I think, fortunately. Nobody knows what came before singularity or before time, and I've never claimed to know. At this point you're making silly assumptions in an attempt to make me look dumb, which doesn't seem to be working out very well.

Quote:Apparently you disagree with Merriam-Webster?
I would've said what @primitive has already said. Refer to his post.

Quote:Right here:

I don't know if you're dyslexic or not, but allow me to inform you that nowhere in your quote of me did I claim the Bible wasn't written before Christ came to Earth. Even saying "before Christ came to Earth" is making me feel dumb considering there's no historical evidence of Christ even existing, but whatever.

Quote:Maybe so, the first man. Maybe not.

I said the first known man, very different from the first man. I will never know if there was a man before Pythagoras to propose the Earth being spherical, all I know is that Pythagoras was the first known man to do so. I feel like at this point you're just avoiding admitting that you were wrong.

I also notice that the sentences in your responses are getting shorter and shorter. Cat got your tongue or are you giving up?

No, actually, neither of those quotes of me were ad hominems. One was a question and the other was rhetoric (rhetorical devices are actually the opposite of logical fallacies).

Ad Hominen.
Anyways, we've run through all we started with, no reason going through it again. Is there anything else you'd like to debate?
BTW (even though this is an Ad Hominen): Your arguments are, too, getting shorter.
