Now it says "waiting for the other party's answer" but it's impossible for me to turn the dispute into a claim, no option is offered to me. Is this normal?
If the buyer and seller do not come to an agreement (which both of you won't), that's when the Dispute turns Into a Claim and PayPal then takes over.
Is this done automatically? Or do I have to take some action or just wait for the other party to respond and then not respond?

You do It through the Resolution Centre by clicking "View" (on your dispute), and then clicking "Escalate this dispute to a PayPal claim".

Okay. It's been almost 1 month since the dispute was launched and it has just been closed. So I had sent the request and sent back information with screenshots, etc... to make them understand the problem. The file was closed this afternoon with only one reason: The file was closed in favor of the seller because the object was neither damaged, nor different, nor had any missing parts as you had indicated. So they blame me for having chosen the wrong situation when it was opened by an agent after conversation with him? This story is a complete disgrace...

What type of evidence did you submit In support of your claim?

All of the above. In fact, they didn't close the request because I don't have any arguments but because it doesn't fit the problem. I have recontacted an advisor who has reopened a more appropriate request and will notify me within 72 hours!

Did you tell them to provide photographic evidence of this?

I explained my story well and stuck to it. I know you don't have time to go back up this thread or even remember it, but the complaint was not originally about a non-matching item but rather a seller suspecting me of fraud and refusing to return it with, as a bonus, a lack of respect for customer service. So they reopened the dispute with a more appropriate subject.

File a complaint on Better Business Bureau! I had to do that with Neiman Marcus when they refused to help me.
