It's not exactly the most Intelligent community.

Hopefully I'm not speaking too soon, but the issue seems to have dissipated. I might just have to live with it for a while until it becomes unbearable again. Giving my computer breaks seems to help. Like if I have to go do something around the house, or go eat I just shut my PC down for a little while.

I'm at a loss at to why the Issue Is Isolated to your PC.

Ironically about 30 minutes after my last post on this thread my computer started seizing up again

But going back to my original theory about voltage, I'm beginning to think this is the fault of my PSU. I've researched similar problems with other people's computers, and almost every single person said it ended up being a PSU related fault. My current PSU is at least 5 years old which is just on the cusp of the sketchy zone. And I'd like to order a new PSU as soon as possible because a few people said their dying PSU was actually slowly killing components like their GPU and MOBO. So instead of spending $600 to replace my GPU, motherboard, and PSU, I think I'll just get a new power supply.

Yes, as I've already mentioned, It's now become a process of elimination.

I'll keep an eye on this thread to see whether the PSU has fixed the Issue.

Last night my computer started freezing only when my ethernet cable was connected. Now that I've started using it in the morning, the problem is gone. This sort of strange behavior could only be cause by the PSU.

Still trying to decide what to buy first though. But, I'll definitely be able to figure it out by tonight. It's probably going to end up being an EVGA unit.

Well, my ethernet port seems to have a mind of its own for the time being. I think when the load starts to get too high, like if I start running a game, a few minutes later my computer will crash. But if I run the same game without ethernet, the game won't crash. This solidifies my PSU theory.

I did end up finding a unit thats to my liking. It's a Corsair RM750x, which is high quality and should last me another 5 years. I'm expecting the unit will arrive at my house around Thursday or Friday.

And when I mentioned that I wasn't sure what to buy yet, I was specifically reffering to the power supply brand. I wasn't sure if you misunderstood or not.

Yeah I noticed it with my keyboard. Had it for 3 years. Some keycaps arent as bright as others. I believe its due to leaving it on all night.

I can finally conclude the saga of shit. I've confirmed that my computer is functioning without issue using my new PSU. I'm also pleased with the amount of noise my computer makes now. If I didn't use an aggressive fan curve for my components, my entire computer would be almost silent.

It's bizarre that a faulty PSU would have problems at the same time of day consistently. Glad it's fixed, regardless.

It started off only happening at night, and progressed pretty quickly into an even worse problem.

My USB devices and HDD first began losing power late at night, usually after midnight. But less than a week later the issue became more spontaneous, and it was harder to pinpoint a pattern. I then began noticing a partern again. When I let my computer shutdown for at least 10 minutes while I went to go do other things around the house, my computer would have no issues. Finally, I completely lost the use of my ethernet port, and it didn't matter if I let my computer shutdown or not.

I've heard that bizzare behavior with your hardware is usually caused by your PSU, which I just learned firsthand.
