Too much money has been spent on my new build, which doesn't even work, to consider buying anything else. I really want an SSD for Windows because gaming is much more convenient on it.

I do however have an M.2 for Linux, and it's very fast.

It's nothing you can fix. I have to order a new compatible CPU to flash the BIOS.

My Cables are really messed...
I think you can update your proccesser as compare to other specifaction all are good
You can run almost all good games...

I plan on getting a Xeon E3 which is on par with a 4th Gen i7.

For your overall usability (as stated), I think your specs are very decent and will certainly suffice your needs.

Good choice with the SSD- It makes a significant difference with shutdown & bootup times (OS drive), as well as read/write operations.

The storage devices were a gift from a few friends over the years, so i didn't have to spend on them. My boot time on Windows 10 (desktop logon) is 12 seconds. And closing time is 7 to 11 seconds depending on what is running/closed.

Everything in this setup is a used or unboxed product from trusted sources with the exception of the Kraken, PSU and CPU Case. I spent somewhere close to $600 in making this build.

My own build was similar. 90% of the parts were used parts from Oni - He looks after his machines very well. Works a dream. Rather different components though. I'd love to upgrade to an SSD someday.

Scouted my phone only to find this. This is how the front looks like. It's a bit older picture without the Liquid Cooling, 1650 and when I had a cheap WD SSD.

I've been wanting to upgrade for a few years. Unfortunately, my bank account has other priorities. I'll be looking for some recommendations when the day comes that I can afford one with adequate space.

If you don't Immediately have the need for an SSD, It's certainly best to wait.

They've significantly decreased In cost over the years, and will Inevitably continue to do so.

Hey there, i have the same CPU but after months of usage it started getting slow and laggy for games. it happened actually when i used to installed many kind of untrusted programs and cracked games, my pc started getting hot and laggy, CPU usage was 100% without even opening any programs or activities. i tried to install antivirus but it was slowing my pc more, a friend told me to enter safe mode without network and install AVG TuneUp but after hours of scanning nothing changed. Did you ever face the same problem ??
