That's likely due to background software running. Make sure to clear your start up and clost any programs you're not using in task manager. Normally anytime I see people saying their PC has slowed down it's due to this reason.

Also make sure your drivers are up to date for everything if you haven't already.

Ram also plays a major role and given It's volatile, a reboot/cold boot will restore the available memory.

I paid close to 3k for my laptop.

Judging by your specs, I think you'll get pretty close, If not beat It.

Isnt 1600MHz a little bit low for hacking? Just from an informative point of view. I've heard around 3200MHz should be the standard for hacking. Or maybe you dont do that stuff. Anyway, nice setup! You sure made the most out of your $600. Excellent build
