Hi,
I have a iPhone coming from John Lewis & being delivered by DPD.
I’m self isolating as I tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday so I don’t answer my door because of this.
If I instruct DPD to deliver to safe place at my property say leave package behind plant pot at side of porch as an example could I tell John Lewis the package wasn’t there when I went to collect it? Thanks

I've seen dpd deliver packages - They leave the package at your door, take a picture of it infront of your door (fully) - I've personally seen them doing that. So maybe that helps with what you wanna do

I decided to wait for delivery, opened door slightly & driver took his picture.
I’ve checked picture & all you see is the package at foot of door, door slightly opened I’m not in it, there is no lights no shadows just darkness so the door could have just been left slightly open when someone left the property 🤔
