JL is a no go right now, unless through PayPal.

Everybody keep saying that.

What you mean unless through PayPal?

pay through PayPal and open up a case as SNAD
not sure beyond that though, surely you would have to return it?

Sometimes PayPal works, sometimes it doesn't. It's best to leave JL alone for now. Its just not worth it.

Just say your item didn't arrive. Or, you can say it did arrive but the parcel arrived damaged and the contents inside are missing.

What item did you buy exactly?

Assuming the SE is successful and you end up with a Macbook Air, will Apple brick this device remotely since you either claimed it DNA or it was an empty box?

Empty Box is not good idea, I think...

Hi,
I have a iPhone coming from John Lewis & being delivered by DPD.
I’m self isolating as I tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday so I don’t answer my door because of this.
If I instruct DPD to deliver to safe place at my property say leave package behind plant pot at side of porch as an example could I tell John Lewis the package wasn’t there when I went to collect it? Thanks

Given you're the one who's Instructing and nominating a safe place, It may release the driver from liability.

Prior to moving forward with the SE, be sure to check the carrier's terms to establish who's responsible for loss of goods during transit/shipment.

Thanks for reply mate..
I could answer my door slightly with mask on, let them take a photo & do a DNA but not sure if this would work best or safe place option.
Any advise would be much appreciated.
