but all the cards one can get have the same billing address.. i'm pretty sure thats what amazon use to block you.. the billing address of the card. Can someone prove me wrong?

Multiple people can live at one address at any given time though. I feel like Amazon's way of blocking new accounts is flawed. If what you're saying about accounts being linked by billing address is true, I mean.

I've known of multiple people who are completely legitimate who have gotten their amazon accounts incorrectly banned due to another person at the address having their account banned. Terrible.

True, however there are many variables Involved when closing accounts, and not purely based on the address per se.

If suspicious/Inconsistent activity Is detected on multiple accounts with the same address, then they'll Investigate It further. If It's deemed to be In breach of their terms and their findings conclude It's the same person, then a ban Is Imminent.
