As a general statement (and not aimed at yourself), SEing becomes a compulsion/obsession when you lose your perspective, which ultimately leads to losing control.

thanks, yeh mite get bits here and there from time to time but not gonna think about it.. it gets in the way of my personal life, sucker for a good deal haha

I have just created a .de account and bought a product around 40€.

After 2 minutes Amazon email me informing me that my account has been temporary blocked and it needs to be unlocked I follow the procedure reconfirming some details such as: name surname, shipping address, phone etc. They wanted also the ID card but I write that I do not want to give it to them.

I created and make the order with a:
- italian ip
- no cookies at all on the browser
- shipping address in italy
- different browser
- different email (created with anonaddy)
- phone number (based on UK)
- credit card that correspond on the name of the account

Maybe they got suspicious about the phone number based on UK or the email that it's not from gmail,yahoo etc.. I do not know.

Now I wait amazon and I will see, I do not understand why they should flag me so fast. I spoke with some compatriots and their account creation on .de was smooth.

Did the full name on the secondary account differ to the one In the first?

Also, was the payment system completely different, without any Identifiable details whatsoever? Lastly, did you use another device to create the account and perform the transaction?

On amazon.de is my first account.

The payment system was a disposable credit card by Revult.

No but as I already said, I used a different browser, all cookies cleaned, different resolution. There were no connection at all with my .it amazon account.

No they haven't associated my account to that one, they just temporary blocked it and ask me to confirm some information, but it's a bit strange.

You don't know this for sure- only they do.

I'm trying to clarify whether both accounts belong to you "under the same credentials", or whether "every Identifiable detail has been changed". Is It the former or the latter?

Sorry I do not understand what do you mean.

I took a lot of precautions to not make Amazon linked my .it account with .de.
I'm sure it's not linked. As I said before I changed all:
- italian ip
- no cookies at all on the browser
- shipping address in italy
- different browser
- different email (created with anonaddy)
- phone number (based on UK)
- credit card that correspond on the name of the account

There is no intersection with my information on the .it account
