This has happened a few times, I would never stop until you get what you wanted. These big markets are doing this on purpose, don't quit at all, they log you out, go right back on, and get someone else, get their answer, and keep going, and going............"I (you) ordered and paid for it, they shipped it. I am not responsible for their mistakes, they don't get to steal my money, that you provide to the bank and the bank provides to the seller/merchant. Thats all their stuff, and their responsibility."

Get what I am saying?

You ordered, paid, and didn't receive. I would never let them take something from me, keep at it as best you can, I would file, contact, email, chat, repeat.... can't let them just take something, you paid for, and I would not give up. Your bank is your bank, simple facts supporting your claim and do what the ask, if not switch banks, if possible, but keep that claim with that bank. They said, "Well Best Buy said?" Excuse me, oh big market pays you off to steal my stuff, and my money........remember, that's Your bank, not Best Buys. Don't lose your cool when speaking with an actual person, being as nice as possible, works better human to human.

Since its your first time...confidence, technique, persistence, plan, plan for the opposite of what you want.

From reading the posts, you are in the gold my friend, may take time, but don't stop now. You have excellent advice in the above posts. No quitting and win this thing. Then learn, evaluate, and grow.

You got this!

I cannot fathom how they fail to differentiate between the two events.

Either they're totally not paying any attention, or they've got the mentality of a dead fish.

Which Is the reason why the claim must be reviewed (yet again) by someone with at least half a brain In the escalation department.

Well bestbuy is a complete bust. They litterally just act retarded sprewing the same stupid line "we can't do anything" "our back office team said no" "we can't transfer you" "back office team has no contact info" It's to the point where they are hellbent on their descision, and auto deny every escalation I make to the point even the best SE'r wont be able to break through, as well as my bank being to retarded to understand the difference between item missing vs package not arriving. I'll circle back and bend them over a barrel next time.

So for future reference EB with bestbuy over $400 will fail, because they will just say it was delivered and or use gross weight to screw you and will refuse to do anything, unless you get lucky enough to not have a braindead rep screw your claim up from the get go. I've been fighting with them for over a month to no avail. They just don't give a damn, and repeat the same crap stonewalling you indefinetly.

I understand your frustration and appreciate you sharing your experience.

It's unfortunate you've dealt with reps who struggle to spell their own name. Something so logical, continues to confuse their (lack of) mentality. It's pathetic and totally unacceptable to be treated with such Ignorance. I know you've exhausted many avenues to no avail, but personally, I'd fight It until the claim Is approved, even If It takes 6 or more months - which was the case with myself and one particular company many years ago.

I also want to thank you for your support through this. Your mention of your struggle with a company has kind of inspired me to keep politely pushing until a favorable outcome happens.

You're most welcome.

Social engineering Isn't all sunshine and rainbows and this claim Is a prime example of that. Complications will Inevitably be experienced a lot more often than not, with many having a significant Impact on the SE. That's when the company must be hit hard beyond limits, and with every manipulative tactic that comes to mind.

When BestBuy denies my claims I go on eBay and create 20 accounts and order expensive stuff from BestBuy store.
I am petty.

Best of luck to you.

Best of luck. Best Buy has some of the worst CS, and business tactics. I hope your financial institution will come through in the end for you.
