Help with amazon refund 01-01-2018, 11:59 AM
#1
So i recently ordered a Ryzen 7 1700x off amazon and when it arrived it was dropped off at my front door without the delivery guy getting a signature or even knocking. I thought that it would be a perfect opportunity to pull the "didn't arrive" excuse. Told amazon support, a case was opened and then 72 hours later i was told to open a police report on the matter. I'm really not that keen on making an actual police report or fudging one, but i was just wondering if there's a way to get around this dilemma. Any help is appreciated :----)

You cannot go back on what you've already discussed with Amazon. Doing so would be an admission of guilt.
As It stands, they're requesting a police report based on the merit of your situation. Under the circumstances, this Is company protocol so go ahead and obtain one so they can move forward with their paperwork.

Doing a police report is easy, all you need to do is contact police get a case number and nothing will come of it police will say they can't do anything and if it was fulfilled by they credit you back.
