UPDATE: after some tries in the live chat, I got a rep that checked the order status. She said that a refund is being initiated right now but I haven't received any emails yet. If anyone wondering, I did this on Amazon Germany and their refund/replacement specialists don't seem to use live chat or take calls so you can only email them or the live-chat/call support will write them an email. If it's urgent, they even prioritize your inquiry so you can get a reply faster (they did this for me because I said that I need this SSD urgently since I earn money with my computer)

Amazon are all over the place. I was refunding Mortal Kombat 11 and got an investigation raised but I tried another rep and they just straight up gave me a refund.

ANOTHER UPDATE: I just got an email confirming my refund of 100€ which means my attempt to SE an SSD has been successful.

But wouldn't the other rep tell you that an investigation is in place? Or did you cancel the investigation.
