I suggest you learn basic html first from W3schools (google it) I has everything you need, it can be a bit overwhelming but just learn how to put images and stuff like that on it and directly learn ccs at the same time to move it around and play with it.
After doing this get more advanced until you can create a fake but professional looking site for a company, don't overdo it just clean simple and functional. After you can do this w/o taking more than a week you should check out html5 and css3 element, put them in there play with it, think of challenges, and then i suggest you cross over to implementing things like j query (or write your own javascript). After know how to make it look good at the output , you've got to learn how the it works server side and tinker with putting up servers in your lan, and go on with those things like ligeti said. that's how i did it at school and it's a good way imho
