That's going to be a while yet unfortunately, it's still in the very early stages but rest assured once it's finished I'll be uploading the iso

git is already included (read the update log) wireshark is planned soon as is metasploit and the aircrack suite evan's debugger, let me check that out.

You're using Qt5 base but there are still lots prople who still use Qt4 and so including it would be beneficial.
You missed SQLlite as far as I know many applications use sqllite. Then providing GEdit and GVim is recommended too.

Perl is not installed by default and neither is Ruby (You might consider installing this as well, since some pentesting tools have been written in Ruby too). But 'tr' is most cases comes with the debian package. Since 'tr' is a part of GNU CoreUtils.

Thanks for heads up, I'll get round to it soon.

I don't see any reason to install other JRE versions than the most recent one, unless you are developing Java applications. The JRE is always backwards compatible.
