I've yet to come across "others" - not a single SEer who can provide evidence that the method works consistently against the majority of companies that're traditionally targeted.

Its a hit and miss, I would say my success rate is about 50% and the process from ftid to replacement can take 3-4 months, like with my Xbox Series X and PS5. There is constant investigations with the couriers and tickets beeing tossed around between reps. But to say the method is dead is naive, flawed maybe but certainly not dead. If you fail its mostly like something you did wrong. Bobs guide is outdated and there are improved ftid methods now.

That's precisely what I mean by flawed.

SEing Is all about formulating methods by leaving very little to no room for error, as opposed to using one (flawed FTID) and keeping your fingers crossed hoping that It'll succeed.

If you did everything right, the method Itself wouldn't be a "hit and miss", hence It's the method that's responsible for failure.

All methods are depending on luck and human error. No method is perfect. So I think your judgement on the method is unqualified. But I respect your opinion.

No.

Methods are based on both their objective to serve their purpose, and the capacity of SE'ers to formulate them effectively. If they were reliant on luck and human error, the majority of SEs will fail.

I'm not referring to perfection, but rather methods that "work" Irrespective of whom you're SEing, as opposed to having a crack at It with the flawed FTID and hoping that reps/drivers are brain-dead by overlooking the obvious.

Always has been and always will be.

The $12000+ I made from FTID'ing products, disagrees.
Your disparagement for the method interests me. I've never had one fail- I understand they fail a lot, but finding the right targets is key.

The only thing I can think would make you hate FTID so much, is an unlucky coincidental streak of FTID failures?

Each traditional method Is formulated to work with the majority of companies (If not all), as opposed to being selective - which makes the flawed FTID a failure In that respect.

FTID is so flawed, an absolute waste of time.
It even puts one at risk of legal trouble, I've linked a few articles on here of people getting arrested because of it.

So i have a lot companys in germany it still works. Often they throw away the empty package and have no idea what happend. They "search" for the package but never find that and refund you.
Never failed on me for now.
