Personally, I don't. Faith itself shouldn't be considered the cause. Disagreements start wars, and people tend to disagree on religion a lot. But, I do acknowledge there have been many disagreements on religion that have caused wars.

Religion has started lots of wars and has been the death of thousands of people, but that was in the past. The primary spark for wars in the most recent years has always been for the economy. It's a known fact that the sole reason America stayed in the Middle East after killing Osama was purely for the fact that the amount of oil over there was crazy and they wanted it all for themselves. And there have been plenty of other instances such as this. So in conclusion, religion started almost all of the wars in the past (pre 1900s) but now I'd say the main cause of all wars is solely for money (improve their countries economy).

Well what I said was not a joke, this person actually got angry over being woken up and went down to argue with the Mexican Christians. Don't believe me? But I think I worded what I said that sounded like a joke or maybe it was exaggerated a little but, that's just because I based it off my memory. So, in conclusion what I said before about the guy who got angry at the rioting christians was not a joke.

Religion doesn't start wars. Zealots who are intolerant of others beliefs, and want to force their crap down you throat as the only true religion; they start wars.
