I feel like people are harping on a lot of the bad stuff there. There's some services that are completely legitimate, or perhaps restricted by locality. Overall, people tend to use hidden services to be... hidden, so there is a lot of illegal/nefarious content out there.

I've seen a lot of ARGs.

Pretty much that, trash and random stuff, illegal stuff, and child porn. Also a bunch of fake stuff.

It's labelled the dark web for a reason- to remain on the dark side of things and not visible to the general public/community, hence the majority Is Illegal activity.

Statistically, over 90% of the net cannot be Indexed by Google.

Have you ever actually found a legitimate contract killing service? You can't say it exists until you find it to be true yourself. That's the problem with the dark net Zipped

Your work (and any organization on a professional/corporate level) should configure It's permissions and privileges for each user account (server-side), and disallow the Installation of Tor. This also applies to all third-party software not used/compliant with the organization's protocols and Inner-workings.

Removable device policies must also be Implemented, whereby removable media (USB sticks, external HDDs and so forth) Is not permitted Into the workplace unless checked and authorized by certified IT personnel. This will help prevent portable tools (that do not require Installation) from entering the workplace In an attempt to circumvent procedures In place.

That aside, well done.

People watch child pornography, sell weapons, purchase drugs, talk about strange things, share creepy videos, and more. There are also terrorists and criminals who communicate over the dark net.
