Hi,

I am new to SEing and attempted this before seeing this site.I ordered an nintendo switch and 2 games from currys and attempted to do a partial empty box refund o the switch. Currys keep stalling on it saying doing investigation for the past month so I raised the complaint with Paypal. They are now saying to get the refund I must send back the games but I gave them away as a christmas gift. When explaining that I didn't want to refund the games as the only thing missing was the switch, they still said I have to return the game. Is anyone aware of a way round this?

im not even gonna lie you might as well return the game and keep a free switch , then buy the games later on

The games have already been given away though and chances are once curry's receive it they will say they want the empty box too

If you decide to hit a chargeback, be sure to keep all communication records (that are In your favor) on hand.

They've failed to communicate. Called numerous times for updates and not once have they left a message. Would an email from last month with no response go in my favour to say they are ignoring my case?

The date of when the email was transmitted Is Irrelevant. Given It relates to your current claim, It fully supports your case.

Shoot them another email to see If a response Is received. If they don't reply, you'll have another piece of evidence of noncompliance by the company.
