Only one way to find out. If it doesn't, you can always return the item. Post an update if you go at it Smile
Unfortunately, I have to retire from SE.
Thanks for all the fun, knowledge, and discussions while I was active! SL really is an amazing community! Keep spreading your knowledge and grow as a community. Smile

I’ve tried to do it with pc currys, unfortunately they will collect the parcel with DPD and there’s no way to ship it by my self.

John Lewis probably is easier because I think they use Royal Mail prepaid label.

The objective of one particular FTID method, Is to show the tracking number as delivered (carrier-wise), but no record of the package Itself (company-wise).

As such, a manual refund/replacement will be Issued- as there will be no entry In their systems for an automated process.

Now that you're aware of how they operate, In future, simply tell them that you've already sent It before they have the chance to suggest the pickup with DPD.

My bad to be honest.

I did not read the return policy thoroughly, unfortunately it’s written in the Covid update that they will collet the parcel via DPD.

I definitely should have planned better, maybe ringing them in order to find out their policy before placing the order.

As with every SE, It's always good practice to research their terms, particularly for any changes/updates. You can then prepare your method based on your findings.

In this case, take the positive out of the negative- you're now aware of what should be done the next time around.

Curry's does show on the Royal Mail returns website where you can go on and generate an label for Curry's.

I wonder if this would work

John Lewis have the Hermes pickup method btw, so could've gone straight there to return!
