Brexit: Progress 02-01-2020, 05:37 PM

Brexit - We've all heard about this headache for many years now. After many political debates and media attention, the UK finally officially left the EU at 23:00 GMT on January 31st.
What does this mean?
While the UK has officially left the EU, there will still be an 11 month transition period, while the UK aims for new free trade arrangements between the UK and EU. During this period, travel and immigration will continue to operate as normal, and UK citizens will be treated like EU citizens while going through airports. This also means freedom of movement will continue to apply during the transition. Living and working in the EU will continue as normal as well. Scottish leaders are still campaigning for another referendum, but are being denied at this moment in time.
In short: No real changes are occurring at this moment in time, with exception to political departments and MEPs either disbanding or re-purposing.
