They actually did deny replacing if I had disposed the product. So I will just trade in the product for an upgrade to the 2. Generation. Then when this arrives, I will start a new case using the mentioned methods above. I feel like Danish supporters in general have lower tolerance / more strict policies than the UK and US.

What methods In particular are you referring to?
Sorry, that might have been misleading. I was referring to a specific "reason" to be used when contacting them. I was thinking of the headset being hot/warm as stated in the owners guide mentioned above.

All good, no problem at all. This post was buried In amongst 30+ notifications, hence the late reply.
Given they state It In their very own owner's guide, your SE Is halfway to success. From this point onward, It's all about how well you execute and maintain your method.

There's always a chance of failure when SEing, however this does look promising.
I've made a mental note of this thread, hence will periodically check for the latest developments.

The headset has been shipped to Bose. Im currently waiting for the replacement to return, so I can create a warranty case about the new item.

Going to try this myself, got a serial which is under warranty bought in 2017. Do I just register the serial and contact support and do what mothered suggested and say they were admitting a loud sound i.e something relating to health and safety.

Good to hear man, can't wait to hear about it. Just start a chat with them, then they will create a case from there. No need to register anywhere.
Regarding the reason/method, you should definetly follow @
mothered advice previously in the thread.

Did exactly that, did register then did chat took mothered's advice. Will get a call within 3 days so should go well hopefully. Do Bose replacements arrive just like if you bought it retail? i.e no "Replacement not for resell" marks on it and includes the standard accessories?

Good luck with the SE. Their should not be a mark on it regarding reselling.
