Bose QC35 SE help needed #1
Hello,

So Ive talked to Bose support and they want to send me new replacement headset (QC35 1. Generation) as a warranty case which is fine. Its even an upgrade from 1. to 2. Generation as an exception. However they want me to send the "faulty" headphones back to them. Is there any way around this, so i dont have to give up the pair I have already? Also Perhaps a way they will not Bill me?

Thank you in Advance.

What excuse did you use for the faulty headphones?

That it would not turn on, no light or anything. They didnt ask for PoP or anything, just had a Serial Number. Any idea of what I should do?

As stated In the owner's guide, It would've been better If you used either of the reasons below.

Quote:Remove headphones immediately if you experience a warming sensation
Quote:Do NOT use the headphones if they emit any loud unusual noise.

As such, for safety purposes, you've Immediately disposed of It. If opting for the second one, you could have put them on a guilt-trip by saying you're experiencing ringing In the ears as a result of their faulty headphones.

That aside, you can still say that you've disposed of It, due to not having the need to keep a nonfunctional Item.

They actually did deny replacing if I had disposed the product. So I will just trade in the product for an upgrade to the 2. Generation. Then when this arrives, I will start a new case using the mentioned methods above. I feel like Danish supporters in general have lower tolerance / more strict policies than the UK and US.
