I am completely serious. I showed them a photo of a melting USB-C port. The first representative directed me to a specialist, but the specialist insisted there was nothing they could do for me. I requested to speak with their supervisor. In response, they asked me to upload a photo using a link they provided. A few minutes after I did so, they initiated the refund. Done.

how long ago was this/ how long did the refund process take to hit ?

Three days ago. Immediately told them it caught on fire (two hours post-delivery) and they processed the refund without any delay.

i just received my package. i am still debating which one to choose since they only took a photo of the front door for DNA. but also MEB i don’t think is possible as the weight is clearly stated on the box of the package. it is 1.86kg how can i argue that it was MEB?

you right im just hella impatient haha. anyways I have contacted them through chat and am awaiting their response, as hey have transferred me to their specialised team. Hopefully it won't take too long, but im almost certain they will replace or refund because I was acting like I was genuinely worried and asked if I had to purchase another one and they just said no its okay blah blah blah so I assume refund or replacement.

Sir, the general rule in seing electronics is to absolutely not turn on any devices (in particular if the shop is direct with the brand and can see the activity on the device in some ways) until the fund have cleared into your bank account or at least to have the confirmation mail for the refund. I like to take extra precautions.

you're completely right. I made that mistake with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. If you check it out I literally just reflected on how stupid I was but now I know and I certainly will not be repeating it.
I only gave into temptation of opening the package and using the device earlier because Im travelling overseas in a few days and I thought it'd be find since they were third party but I made a mistake and FAILED the DNA. But I really appreciate the advice nevertheless.
