yeah thats how it is done, but uses high CPU compared to naturally Multithreading capable languages.

Some fanboys make it sound like its great for any full fledged application. Best use it for day to day tasks or as an upgraded version of batch programming.

it is really great it has COM abilities, and can call many other languages, but in itself has a lot of features.

Well, this isn't entirely true. It's easy for us to make statements like that in this decade. But remember, modern programming started with Pascal in the first place, followed by C and C++. Behind these languages there was mainly a single person for each language. After that, big companies comes into play and started to embrace a specific language as primary development tool. There was a time when Apple used Pascal as its main language for developing their OS.
Speaking of witch... Back in '90s there was a college boy named Florian Klampfl who started the FreePascal Compiler project as a free alternative compiler to Borland's. And look at what it is now.
What I'm trying to say here is that someone can appear with a bright idea or someone who sees things from different perspectives or both.

I still think its better to use development tools provided by the person who made the OS in my case microsoft.

I never learned VB. In school they taught me Pascal, because it wasn't a programming course.
But according to my teacher, both are similar and I have to say that it was a pretty basic language, altough I never learned AutoIt, so I can't give my opinion on it :/
