Ordered new iPhone from Apple App Store. Item arrived & sister signed for it. Pic of her collecting.

I contacted Apple said no phone inside box just cable and leaflet.
They asked was parcel heavy bla bla bla..
They said they will get back to me in up to 8 working days.
Said they contact courier and get back to me.
I have contacted them every day since saying how frustrated I am.

Will it work?

Unless you've claimed the package arrived damaged, hence the phone was stolen prior to accepting It, the phone Is too heavy for the EB/missing Item method.

Said they contact courier and get back to me.

They've opened an Investigation, and will cross-check the weight with the carrier's records.

I have contacted them every day since saying how frustrated I am.

I did say the packaging was untouched as I thought it’ll leave fault with manufacturer as I didn’t want delivery driver in trouble. Didn’t think of what you said.

I’ve just contacted every day stating how ridiculous this is & how I wanted a refund as soon as.

So my claim was most definitely be accepted right? I’ll get back to you guys when I hear a reply

Since you claimed the package was in good shape, they might reject it.

Let’s see how it goes. I’ll update this post. What would have been a better way? Leaking battery? As there was picture of it being collected DNA was not a possibility.

The phone could've been stolen by anyone, not just the carrier driver - perhaps by the company's dispatch personnel.

For future reference, do not provide anymore details than you need to. If they ask whether or not the package was damaged on receipt, say that you didn't take notice but will check and get back to them. As such and If need be, you can use It to your advantage later on.

If It's not accepted, they wouldn't be Investigating It.

So it seems that they have automatically sent me a replacement which I didn’t ask for?

I want to SE this one too! I didn’t even ask for this replacement. I will try to have delivery leave it but if not how shall I SE it? Shall I attempt battery was leaking or say EB again?
