So I have DNA the delivery. They are asking for ID showing my signature clearly. Passport or driving license.

Is a copy/photo taken of the ID, or Is It verified visually?

If I do not have this what can they say or what do I say?

Tell the driver you don't have your ID on hand, but assure him/her you will email It within the hour.

Of course, you'll do nothing of the sort - It's simply a manipulative tactic to accept the package.

It's beyond me, why they'd believe that a photo of your hands holding the package can be used to verify It was delivered correctly. For obvious reasons, It's useless.

They have absolutely no evidence to conclude the package was personally handed to the correct recipient - yourself. As such, your ID Is useless to them, so It's up to you If you want to give them your personal Information.
