As It stands with the delivery, a photo was taken of someone's hands holding the package and a signature was not requested.

They have absolutely no evidence to conclude the package was personally handed to the correct recipient - yourself. As such, your ID Is useless to them, so It's up to you If you want to give them your personal Information.

As per below, I don't see how their Investigation can conclusively deem the package was successfully delivered to the correct recipient.

So I’m confused. I contacted yesterday and after effortless contact I’ve been told we’ve issued you a credit note which shows your being refunded for the purchase. This credit note was sent to my email.

I’m not sure if this credit note was sent to me because of my replacement or a refund because I still haven’t received my refund?
