1 question, can't your boxer just photoshop the drop-off receipt for you?

Given he's providing the service, you'd think he'd cover everything needed for the SE's success, Photoshopping Included.

The thing is the access point where he dropped the package never delivers any proof of delivery so if I fake one and Apple get in touch with them, they will surely know that's fake.

I've been dealing with them for 1.5 years, dozens of refunds and always expensive stuff, never had any problem though. Apple investigation service should have called me yesterday (May 4th) but nothing. I'll call them friday if nothing happens.
Today is the last day I can return the iPhone, it's a bad idea unfortunately

In such a case, the boxer/refunder should've supported your SE every step of the way. That's what he's paid to do.

The duration of the Investigation, may not affect the time frame of your eligibility to return the product.

It's not your fault they're taking a while to complete their findings.

Quick update, I called Apple today, they say they are still waiting for Ups' answer for their investigation. The rep also told me that the package is seen as delivered on the tracking but THEY RECEIVED NOTHING. So basically the transit worked well and the package has probably been delivered somewhere else and they will never find it. Refund in good position

Do you really want UPS getting involved though? Lit and FTID I figured you might as well take the lost because if the carrier reveals what's actually taken place, it'll be more of a headache. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out though.

They didn't say me anything, i'm still waiting for the investigation. There are always investigation when it comes to pricy stuff. I wasn't expecting them to refund me straight away without even asking. It's actually neither a ftid nor a lit. My boxer told me that a lit ot ftid with Apple, they would have required me a PR. He did me a reroute transit  and he has a ups employe's access account.
Now i'll patiently wait for the call next week and hopefully finaly get refund

100% agree. From my experience, they probably look forward to this to charge more.
